ClockWise: Q1 review - Iran war triggers sharp changes in asset prices

It has been a volatile start to the year for financial markets as the outbreak of war in Iran triggered major reactions across the month of March across all asset classes.

Global equities ended the quarter in negative territory, with the S&P 500 recording five consecutive weekly losses to end the period. Bond prices also fell as investors moved to price in an inflationary shock.
